Jaunjelgava Roman Catholic church of Saint Cross

Lāčplēša iela 4, Jaunjelgava, Aizkraukles novads, Latvija, LV-5134

The present church was built in honor of the Holy Cross by Augustine Lusko, the dean of Skaistkalne, in 1902 on the site of an old wooden chapel. The church is a wooden building, 30 meters long, 23 meters wide with one tower and two copper bells. The church is surrounded by a garden closed by an iron fence with brick posts.
