Concert “Dawn Concertitual” by the band "Tautumeitas"

This year, the Tautumeitas group invites you to the Dawn Concertitual, which for the second year in a row will combine live music and elements of the summer solstice, based on Latvian folk traditions and cultural heritage. "The Dawn Concertitual will take place on the night of 20-21 June, starting at 2:00 a.m., before sunrise.

Due to the great interest of the audience, the venue has been changed from the Aizkraukle Castle Mound to a larger location on the bank of the Daugava at “Kalna ziediem” in Aizkraukle. The Kalnaziedy Hillfort and the surrounding area of the Upurozols are a cultural monument of national importance and an ancient Latvian sacred site with a rich archaeological and mythological heritage. All tickets purchased are valid; no additional action is required.

The summer solstice is the most energetically powerful moment of the year - the peak of nature, when man can draw strength from the cycle of light. Visitors are invited to arrive early to soak up the atmosphere, prepare for a special musical experience and enjoy a warm cup of tea. The night before sunrise can be drizzly, so visitors are welcome to bring blankets and folding chairs; there is no seating at the concert.
