Comedy “JEALOUS”

PANNAS THEATRE invites you to its new production – the comedy “JEALOUS”.

November 24 at 7:00 PM at the Aizkraukle Cultural Centre.

At the heart of the play are two striking and completely different couples whose lives become intertwined in an unexpected and comical whirlwind of events. On one side is Janis, a painter whose “safe bubble” bursts when he falls head over heels in love with Krista, a married woman. His love manifests itself as an overwhelming bout of shyness, while Krista is an outwardly perfectly composed, intelligent and disciplined woman who is, in reality, just as confused as everyone else and hides the chaos caused by her collapsing marriage.

On the other side are Roberts and Eva. Roberts is the kind of person who “puts out a fire by pouring petrol on it” – convinced that love can be maintained through force and loud scenes of jealousy. Meanwhile, Eva – a “woman of chaos” – runs away from him every time he raises his voice, only to return as soon as he calls her back.

The roles will be played by audience favourites Aldis Siliņš, Ainārs Ančevskis, Elīna Vāne, Zane Aļļēna, Māris Bezmers and Jānis Skanis. Reinis Liepkalns joins the team in the role of a police officer.
