Veseta Flood-Land Swamp

Vietalvas pagasts, Aizkraukles novads, Latvija

A protected complex of wetlands with an area of nearly 430 ha. Home to one of the largest populations of marsh saxifrages in Latvia and a diversity of birds. There is a walking trail and a memorial for national partisans – a dugout and a cross – in the territory of the nature reserve.
