Lokstenes sanctuary

Klintaines pagasts, Aizkraukles novads, Latvija, LV-5129

From May to November, the main shrine of the Dievturi movement can be seen. It is located in river of Daugava near the bakery “Liepkalni”. You can get there by raft. The shrine was opened in May 2017 and is intended for Latvian creed (Dievturība), the honor of human life, as well as for the organisation of anniversary and public holidays celebrations.
