Vilar Hotel SPA is located in Aizkraukle, 90 km from Riga, on the banks of Latvia’s largest river, the Daugava, near the Pļaviņas Hydroelectric Power Station. Several significant cultural and historical sites are located nearby, including the medieval ruins of Koknese Castle, Aizkraukle Hillfort, Vīgante Park, and the memorial “Dieva auss” dedicated to the submerged Staburags cliff.

The hotel offers 51 bright and comfortable rooms, including single and double rooms with separate or double beds, family rooms, and luxury rooms. Guests have access to a SPA centre with a swimming pool, saunas with different humidity levels (50% and 80%), a Turkish bath, a steam bath, and various SPA treatments. In 2025, a modern medical centre was opened at the hotel – the largest private medical facility in Aizkraukle – offering a wide range of medical, aesthetic, and rehabilitation services.
