Recreation site „Lapsu ciems”

The Fox Village Holiday Complex was launched in 2019. Its scenic territory is surrounded by fields and the Daugava River, the river of Latvian destiny.

"One of the main advantages of the Fox Village is the direct contact with nature in the cottages. This is made possible by the large windows that cover a large part of the cottages. You get the feeling of being part of nature - with all the comfort and peace you need to relax your mind.
You can also visit "Fox Village" in winter. The rest will be quiet and peaceful, with a feeling of winter only. The campsites have lovely fireplaces, which will make your winter holiday much warmer and more pleasant.
There are 3 camping cabins, a bathhouse, a volleyball court, recreation and barbecue areas. The recreation complex is designed from the "holidaymaker's point of view". We have tried to think of everything so that it is not only close to nature and water, but also comfortable and pleasant to stay. The cottages are about 30m apart from each other so that holidaymakers do not disturb each other. Each cottage is equipped with a kitchenette with everything you need, as well as a toilet with shower.
The sauna house is located right by the Daugava River, where you can relax your body and mind with a swim in the Daugava after the sauna. It is possible to organise small parties with friends.
Boat rental is available for visitors and fishermen.
There is a footbridge in the water for fishing and swimming.

The recreation complex is 116 km from Riga, 5 km from the village of Staburaga. To get to the destination, 8 km by dirt road. The nearest towns are Aizkraukle 23km and Jēkabpils 38km. The recreation complex is situated in a mountainous terrain on the bank of the Daugava River with a shoreline of 100m. The river bed is very gentle, safe for swimming. On the other bank of the Daugava there is a guest house Kalnavoti, 2 km in the direction of Riga Likteņdārzs and ruins of Koknese Castle.

The recreation complex is suitable for families with friends. The complex can comfortably accommodate four families (about 16 people). To enjoy the holiday fully and without stress, we recommend a visit of at least two days.
