How to play “Roadgames”?

Download the “Roadgames” app and open the relevant game. Add team members (2–4 players) and start the game anywhere within the game area! Mobile data and location services must be enabled.

One “Roadgames” game is available in the Aizkraukle and Skrīveri area:

• Lielvārde – Skrīveri

The route of this game winds along the right bank of the Daugava, where the beautiful towns of Latvia are lined up one after another, almost like the protective symbols woven into the traditional Lielvārde belt.

The journey begins in Ķegums, where you can climb Krusta Hill and admire the impressive hydroelectric power station, before continuing to Lielvārde, celebrated in Latvia’s national epic. Here you will discover the mighty “Bear’s Bed” — Pumpurs Stone, the reconstructed Uldevene Castle, the Chairs of Honour, the Rumbiņa waterfall and the sacred Dieva Ozoli oak grove.

Along the way, you will also encounter the Ašķere and Gaiļi nature trails and the former “Lāčplēsis” collective farm.

And when it comes to Skrīveri, one thing is absolutely clear — leaving without tasting the famous “Gotiņa” toffees should practically be against the law!
