Jaunjelgava Tourist Information Point invites to enjoy winter in Jaunjelgava

The year has begun beautifully and white! Snow and frosty weather paint winter with sparkling snowflakes! Saunas and warm hot tubs, comfortable and soft beds in guest houses will help you find warmth and relaxation in the winter cold. You can improve your physical well-being and unwind from everyday life by going for walks or horseback riding to take in the majesty of nature. Enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the cafés.

• Walks along the Daugava promenade in Jaunjelgava

You can go for a walk all day long, even in the evening – the promenade is lit up and the snow is cleared! The total length is about 2 km of fresh air and the charm of the Daugava River in the winter cold. In the evening, I recommend visiting Jaunjelgava Old Town Park and enjoying the view of the illuminated park. The lights turn on at 4:00 p.m.

Offers horse riding for adults and children, in an enclosure, with or without previous experience, as well as riding lessons. Visits must be booked in advance.

Café “Citruss” - café located on the premises of Jaunjelgava Secondary School, offering inexpensive and tasty meals. You can eat in or order takeaway. It is possible to order and organize banquets for up to 20 people. The café is closed during school holidays. Working hours on weekdays are from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Closed on Saturdays/Sundays and during school holidays.
