The Mazzalve Parish History Room is located on the 1st floor of the Mazzalve Parish Centre "Ainās".The materials are arranged in 3 rooms. The materials collected by the local historian Emilia Varkale are in a place of honour. There are furniture, old inscriptions and household utensils from Mazzalves. The names of the houses are particularly appealing to visitors. Past and present. Those who enter the History Room are delighted by the GOTINI collection - souvenirs from all over the world - donated by Mārīte Grigāne. All materials are arranged thematically.
Anita Vectirāne, the head of the History Room, gives an interesting and extensive talk about each item. Here you can see the near and distant past, which surprises more than one visitor. There are also materials about the ceramist and sculptor Zigfrīds Sapietis, whose 100th birthday will be celebrated on 2 January.
Exhibitions are held: shawls, tablecloths, terrines.
