Mazā Kalnamuiža

When in Nereta, you should definitely visit "Mazā Kalnamuiža". This is a truly beautiful place for lovers of nature, leisurely walks and antiquity. Historically, this was the site of "Kalnamuiža", which was part of the Nereta Manor (16th century) - the walls of the manor buildings and part of the historic landscape have been preserved.

As the name suggests, the manor was located at one of the highest points in the area, making the whole surrounding area visible and revealing the historical, unadulterated beauty of Latvian nature.

"Mazā Kalnamuiža" invites you to take a walk within the walls of the manor. The surrounding area - both the manor walls and, in season, the adjacent sunflower field - will serve as a perfect backdrop for your photo session. 

Enjoy the beauty of the surroundings, have a picnic by the manor walls and spend the night in a tent, enjoying the breath of antiquity!  

By arrangement with the owners of "Mazā Kalnamuiža", it is also possible to organise a tasting of the house wines.
