For the attention of visitors to the Koknese Medieval Castle Ruins

Due to the “Minhauzens” hunting festival taking place in the vicinity of the Koknese open-air stage on 31 July and 1 August, access to the usual parking area for visitors to the Koknese Medieval Castle Ruins near the stage may be difficult.

We kindly ask visitors to leave their cars in the town of Koknese – in the vicinity of Koknese Secondary School, near the Koknese Tourist Information Centre (1905. gada iela 7) or elsewhere where parking is available – and walk to the castle ruins through the park.
