We invite You to turn this heartfelt day into a beautiful adventure — by attending one of our cultural events, enjoying a delicious and romantic meal, or choosing a leisurely rest in one of our hospitable guest houses, which will provide a pleasant atmosphere of peace and togetherness.


Delicious meals:

•    Café "Pie Aigara" – delicious meals on weekdays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., closed on Sundays.

•    Café "Rudais Ūsiņš" – special weekend offer: excellent Italian-style spaghetti with shrimp and Caesar salad. Working hours on weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., closed on Sundays.


Cultural events:

•    Jaunjelgava – February 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the Jaunjelgava Association Administration Hall, screening of the film "The Dark Blue Gospel." Admission is €3.

•    Daudzeva – February 13 at 8:00 p.m. at the Daudzeva Community Center, disco "Mīlas viesulis" (Love Storm). Table reservations by calling +371 27836038.


Exhibitions:

•    Jaunjelgava – Larisa Novika's collection of porcelain figurines and tableware, as well as Nikolai Samoilenko's collection of clocks, are on display at the Jaunjelgavas Library. Opening hours: Mon-Fri 10:00-18:00, Sat 9:00-18:00, Sun 10:00-16:00 and Saturdays 10:00-14:00.

•    Jaunjelgava - Jaunjelgava Tourist Information Point, where you can see Ginta Zaumane's embroidered miniatures "Mans tautastērps" ("My National Costume") and the book "Mans tautastērps" ("My National Costume.") Opening hours: Mon. - closed, Tue. - Fri. from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sat. from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Sun. - closed!

•    Sece – exhibition of paintings by Astrīda Mencendorfa, "All Twelve Gathered Together...", at the Sece Cultural Center. For more information and to register for a visit, call +371 26397320.

•    Staburags - Gunta Arta Svilpe's photo exhibition "Moments in Nature" is on display at the Staburaga Parish Library.

In Staburaga Parish, Vīgantes Park delights with its snow-covered banks of the Daugava River, while the snow-covered streets of Daudzeva, Sērene, Seces, and Sunākste reveal the quiet charm of the village, where winter tranquility blends with rural charm.
