Boat "Balta kaza"

The water tourism center “Balta Kaza” offers extensive recreational and active recreation opportunities on the banks of the Daugava, connecting Skrīveri and Jaunjelgava with a ferry service. Visitors can go on trips on the small boat “Balta Kaza” or the motorboat “Āzītis”, enjoying scenic views of the Daugava and the peaceful atmosphere of the river.

Various water and active recreation equipment is also available for rent – canoes, rowing boats, motorboats with 5 HP engines, rafts, SUP boards, water bikes (catamarans), as well as bicycles. There are tent sites and a boat launch in the area, which allows you to plan a longer vacation in nature.

The small boat “Balta Kaza” runs without a set schedule – if it is on the opposite bank, you can contact the captain who will come to pick you up. The boat is designed for up to 25 passengers, and the trip is free for children under 7 years of age.

Water tourism equipment rental is available from 10:00 to 20:00, while the boat operates every day from 8:00 to 21:00 (weekdays) and from 9:00 to 21:00 (weekends). Excursions and equipment rental must be booked in advance by calling 29442587, arriving at least 10 minutes earlier, otherwise the reservation may be canceled.
