Brewery of spirits "Drunka"

"Drunka* is an alcohol production company that makes wines and spirits.

   The product creation cycle starts from our apple orchard, berries, rhubarb - from seed to finished wines, vodka. Blackcurrants, raspberries, currants, quinces, rowanberries have given their colour and flavour to the drinks, have taken on the strength of vodka and become 'Drunk' . The distillate is made from apple wine, which is left to rest for a while in oak barrels to give it the flavour and colour of calvados.

     We are located in the most picturesque place in Skrīveri, by the Daugava river, on the Riga - Daugavpils highway and in the old "Kalnakrogs" built of boulders. We had planned to move production to this historic building, but Kalnakrogs already boasts painted windows. From the 2nd floor window, the former owner of the Kalnakrogs, Natālija, looks out over the calm flow of the Daugava, listens to the sounds of the highway, watches and enjoys the bustle of the tavern building.

   We warmly invite you to visit the old Kalnakrogs (now known as Lāčplēša Tavern), where you can enjoy the flavors we have created, our signature “Drunka” and “Drunkas” strength soup, and listen to stories about the making of wine and spirits, as well as the history of Kalnakrogs.
