For the fifth year in a row, the concert "Sunset on Sunrise" will take place in Koknese. This year it will be musically filled with the concert programme "The Heart of My Land", the brainchild of Antra Stafecka and Ingars Viļums. The concert will take place in the medieval castle ruins of Koknese on 21 June at 20:00
The collaboration between the two musicians has been a success and has won the acclaim of the audience. "The songs combine a deeply emotional message and Latvian traditions, revealing the unity of man and nature, the flow of time and the eternal values that live beyond the hurried rhythm of everyday life," explains Antra Stafecka.
The musicians will take the audience through their musical feelings and stories, which are deeply rooted in Latvian culture and identity.
As usual, the concert will take place in the medieval castle ruins of Koknese, one of the largest and most important medieval castles in Latvia.
To some, it may seem like a small dot on the map of Latvia, but beneath this seemingly insignificant dot lies a whole world - charming, a little mysterious and definitely worth discovering.
There are not many places in Latvia where two rivers - the Pērse and the Daugava - converge in such a wonderful way, creating a romantic backdrop for the ruins of Koknese Castle, which have survived for several centuries.
This is the perfect place to enjoy the synergy of music and nature and to feel the magical aura of this place.
300 seats will be available for visitors, as well as parking spaces. Children under 7 years of age are admitted free of charge without taking up an extra seat. Tickets are available at www.bilesuparadize.lv .
