Publiskā pludmale Odzes ezera krastā

Lake Odzes, also known as lake Trakšēni, is an impressive body of water – 2.69 km² in size, featuring a small island and depths reaching up to 6.6 meters. On its southern shore lies a spacious and well-equipped public beach, recreation complex “Mežezers” and recreation complex “Mežezera stāsts.”

The public beach offers all the necessary amenities for solo visitors, groups of friends and families alike: changing cabins, benches, restrooms and sports courts for football, basketball and beach volleyball. Upon entering the area, you’ll find free parking on the right-hand side.

With the start of the swimming season, visitors can rent boats and SUP boards, go fishing and – with prior arrangement – access the site with their own car or camper, set up tents, enjoy picnic and BBQ areas, or use their own boat or jet ski on the lake, all while ensuring the safety of other visitors and swimmers. Please note that swimming with pets is not allowed on the beach.
