Skrīveri food factory

Skrīveri Food Factory is a family business of Skrīveri residents, which preserves and honors ancient recipes with great care, continuing to produce sweets by hand. Only the highest quality raw materials are used in the creation of products, ensuring constant taste and quality.

Visitors have the opportunity to learn about the history of the factory and the production process, as well as participate in the creation of “Gotiņa” candies by wrapping their own candies and receiving a special certificate at the end.

The company’s contribution to the preservation of Latvian cultural heritage is confirmed by the cultural mark “Latvian Heritage”, which was awarded at the end of 2015. It is awarded to companies that nurture and popularize Latvian traditions, allowing visitors to get to know them.

A visit to Skrīveri Food Factory is an opportunity to feel the breath of history and the taste of childhood in a place where the legendary “Gotiņa” candies have been made for more than sixty years. This is the real “Gotiņa” – in Skrīveri and throughout Latvia.
