Jaunjelgava jewish cemetery

In the first post-war years, Jews were reburied in the Jaunjelgava Jewish cemetery, where a monument with a Yiddish inscription was erected. In 2003, a memorial was erected in the Jewish cemetery with a memorial plaque that reads in Hebrew, English and Latvian: "More than 500 Jews from Jaunjelgava were killed on 7 August 1941".
