Aizkraukles pastaigu taka

Aizkraukle has a well-maintained walking trail that starts at the Aizkraukle Regional Secondary School building on Draudzības krastmala 5 and extends all the way to the Aizkraukle multifunctional bike park and the Daugava walking and educational trail at the Aizkraukle Regional Secondary School building on Lāčplēša iela 21.

The walking trail is almost 800 metres long and leads through the terrain, known among the people of Aizkraukle as the "ravine". The path has steep slopes, which is why wooden stairs based on screw piles have been built and wooden footbridges can be used to cross the ditches. There are four wooden benches for resting. A platform overlooks the picturesque landscape of the Daugava.

The path is illuminated, so it is easy to walk along even in the darkest hours of the day.
