The most significant and stately building in Daudzse parish was built in 1825 at the expense of Countess Shuvalova. The church did not suffer much in World Wars I and II. During World War II the church was the headquarters of the German army and housed war refugees. The church continued to exist during the Soviet era, but material damage was caused during this period. In 1988, electricity was installed, windows repaired and other damage repaired. In the summer of 2010, the parish celebrated 185 years of its church. The church is a historical and architectural monument. Looking around the church, to the left of the altar you can see a copy of the 1999 Leonardo da Vinci painting "Holy Communion" by the artist Valdis Resnis from Jaunjelgava. In the tower of the Daudzeva church there is a cast-iron bell, 0.5 m in diameter, made in Liepāja, decorated with an inscription. The 100th anniversary of the church.
