SĒRENE SWEDISH MONEY STONE -
Very easily accessible but can be difficult to see as it is in the forest. It has been told about it that naked daughters have been seen lying on it, brushing their hair around the midnight. There are also stories of hidden money, often with the mention that it was Swedish money. Pottery shards were once found under the stone. The stone is rich with several names and a lot of folklore material. One story tells of the White Man who turned coal into gold, then disappeared and at this place appeared a large black stone with moss on it. Since then, this stone has been called the Money Stone. The stone invites travellers to stop and find it! Who knows, maybe You will meet the White Man and get the money!

DAUDZESE ELLĪTE SPRING - The ancient sulfur spring is located on the edge of the Ellīte bog. The spring has a water intake source, a trail with a resting place and information boards. The healthy and tasty water is still widely used today by the local population. The specific smell of rotten eggs, caused by hydrogen sulphide, disappears as the water is used, as the hydrogen sulphide evaporates. You should go to the spring with good thoughts, in the past people even went with gifts. It is said that people believed that they would get the favour of the spring and always went to the spring as a sacred place, because the water of the spring have healing powers. The Ellite Sulphur Spring in Daudzese is a place where You can find peace and quiet, enjoy the water to improve health and watch the nature. The water can be stored at room temperature for a long time if you take it with you.

SĒRENE KARST FALL - The Sērene karst fall, located on the bank of the Lauce River valley, is a seasonal spring outlet in old quarries. The outcrops of dolomite layers of the Plavinas Suite are clearly visible here. To the north is the Korkule dry bed nature monument with watercourses. When reaching the bottom of the crater, the traveller stands below the level of the reservoir, but in order to get here, a steep slope has to be climbed, so comfortable shoes are recommended! The feelings and the views are spectacular! You can feel the majesty of nature! The water disappears underground in its bed, and after 0.5 km part of it flows out onto the steep bank of the Lauce. The traveller has the opportunity to walk along the spring itself until it flows into Laucese. Along the way, you can observe the magnificent variety of spring plants, such as the blue maidenhair.
